The Unlisted & Pre-IPO Desk is opening soon.
Every company worth watching before it lists, on one page: what it does, where it stands on the road to an IPO, what earlier unlisted buyers learned, and the grey market read with its sources. When you want to buy or sell, a person on the desk verifies both sides before anything moves.
No order book, no buy button and no payments on this site. Every enquiry is handled one to one by the desk.
Dossiers are general and educational. We don’t tell you whether to buy or sell. Education
GMP is an informal, unregulated estimate. We show where each figure came from, and where sources disagree.
Status lines are the desk’s notes from the linked sources, checked . “Reported” means the source is the press, not the company. No prices are listed: unlisted shares have no exchange quote, so we give a price one to one, with its date and basis.
Three recent listings, the price unlisted buyers paid, and the price the IPO set.
The grey market premium is what informal dealers say a share may list at, above the issue price. It is not official, not regulated, and often wrong. Where two sources differ, we show both.
SEBI does not recognise the grey market. Its chairman has floated a regulated way to trade IPO shares between allotment and listing to replace it; until then, GMP trades are informal promises with no protection. NSE’s own listing shows the gap: unlisted buyers paid up to ₹2,055, the IPO price was ₹1,785, and the shares listed at ₹1,800.
Unlisted deals go wrong in three ways: the shares don’t exist or can’t move, the money comes from the wrong place, or someone isn’t who they say. Each check below closes one of those doors, and nothing moves until both ladders are complete.
Most unlisted shares in India are sold by people who earned them: employees with exercised options, angels, and families holding shares for years. We help you find out what can be sold, at what price, and what the company’s rules allow.
Tell us what you holdIn the US, private-company shares change hands on dedicated marketplaces for accredited investors. What they have learned shaped this desk: show how a price was formed, verify buyers through independent checks, let the company approve transfers, and settle through escrow.
A person on the desk reads every message and replies within one working day, with the process, the costs and what we need to verify. No obligation, and nothing to pay to ask.
The Unlisted & Pre-IPO Desk publishes general information about companies whose shares are not listed on a stock exchange, and about upcoming public issues. It is not an offer, a solicitation, a research report, investment advice or a recommendation to buy, sell or hold any security, and it is not personalised to you. Artha Nakshatra is not yet registered with SEBI and does not offer advisory, research or portfolio management services to the public.
This website is not a trading platform. It has no order book, does not match buyers with sellers, shows no tradable prices and takes no payments. An enquiry is a request to be contacted. Unlisted shares are not traded on a recognised stock exchange, and transactions in them do not have the benefit of exchange or SEBI investor protection, grievance redressal or online dispute resolution mechanisms. They can be hard to sell, have no official price, may be subject to transfer restrictions in the company’s articles, are locked in for six months after an IPO for most pre-IPO holders, and may list below the price paid, or not list at all.
Grey market premium (GMP) figures are informal estimates collected from third-party websites, named beside each figure. They are unofficial and unregulated, are not verified by Artha Nakshatra, differ between sources and change during the day. They do not predict listing prices.
Company names and status lines are taken from public sources linked beside each one, as at the date shown; names and trademarks belong to their owners, and Artha Nakshatra is not affiliated with or endorsed by any company or website listed. Information may be out of date. Do your own research, read the company’s offer documents where available, and consult a SEBI-registered adviser and a tax adviser before acting.
